Check out our beautiful 1950s revamped wedding gown which was used on a shoot with our fabulous photographer Nancy Pineda. The location of the day was Buswells Hotel in Dublin city centre, a fitting and elegant interior which teamed perfectly with our vintage collection.

This never worn dress was perked up with a beautiful hand stitched sequin-embroidery section across the bust and a delicate satin ribbon belt. Currently on sale at The Loft at the knocked down price of 165.00 euros. And many more fab wedding dresses await there!!

After the rave reviews D’ Gaga received for the solar system inspired Armani Prive dress she wore to this year’s Grammys, (and the ravin lunatic reviews after  that carnival ride ensemble at the Brits)  the singer is teaming up with Giorgio Armani again, this time for her Monster Ball concert tour.

The Italian designer has released two sketches featuring the custom-made outfits he created for her mad-esty. Armani says, “We hear Lady Gaga’s music everywhere we go, it is like a soundtrack of our times. In addition to her formidable songwriting skills, she is a modern fashion phenomenon.”

From a skimpy bodysuit with a lobster-claw on one sleeve to a stellar onesy with exaggerated shoulders, each outfit combines Armani’s sharp tailoring with Gaga’s dramatic edge. Do we smell a collaboration brewing for us mere mortals? Just think, futuristic dressing up days may be closer than we thought – I had a sneaky feeling 2011 would be the year I draped myself in a flammable plastic cloak with sequined bum floss. Practical… and that’s not to mention the nipple flame-thrower accessories for all you lucky smokers out there!

Until then take a look at the fashion house sketches just released…

Lily has postponed her much talked about retirement from the music industry for another whopping four months…The star has been telling us for some time that her show with Dizzee Rascal at the O2 Arena in March would be her last before she concentrates on the world of fashion. But she has now signed up to play on the same bill as Jay-Z at London’s Wireless festival on July 4 before hanging up her mic.

But enough about that, what’s all this fashion talk eh?? Another collaberation blah blah blah…But no, I thought that too and was wrong wrong wrong. Lily and older sis Sarah Owen are setting up a vintage clothing line called Lucy in Disguise (lovin the name) which will be a rental business for now.

Lily announced  “I’m doing a vintage clothes shop with my sister, it’s amazing stuff that would be really expensive but we’re renting it for a fraction of the price, so girls can come and get dressed up for a night out and have a laugh.”

“I’m having a career change for a while. I’m concentrating on something else. I’d like to get my brand and my shop going, and then if it does well, we’ll definitely think about branching out on our own label,” she told the Press Association.

Lily said she wanted to stop touring and making music because it’s a “really big commitment”.

Well established for her personal style, Lily’s undergone a major style evolution since her early career days. Remember those cute prom dresses paired with trainers? Not too shabby was her transformation into a Lagerfeld muse, both performing at the Chanel catwalk show and posing very Audrey-esque for the campaign pics.

Lucy In Disguise will be unveiled at the ‘Vintage at Goodwill’ festival- a music, vintage and retail event at Goodwood this August. She has made it very clear that she will not, repeat will not perform- so no pestering for requests over there ye hear…
