All in all it’s been a super busy gallery month for Anna. From THAT bleedin gorgeous cover of Rolling Stone (the equivalent of porn for your local blood bank) to her sneaky, reportedly wowing walk down the aisle in Malibu last week with fiance Stephen Moyer, to her appearance lastnight at The Emmys in a much talked about Alexander McQueen number.
Okay, back to the big day…what was she wearing? A white halterneck gown and Neil Lane jewellery with her hair in a classy updo and a southern gent on her wrist – that would be Moyer, who donned a dark suit and a pale face. They exchanged vows at sunset under a white tent at a beachside villa in Malibu, Florida. Honeymoon to follow…

Yep, it’s another toe-tappin night of mayhem – The Vertical Rhythm Club takes place this Saturday 28th August at Bective Rangers Football Club, Donnybrook. Doors 10pm, Ticket €10 and fun is free…let the good times roll – and rock! This promises to be a fabulous night of jazz-era style dancing featuring guest DJ Sinclair Ang from Singapore.
And if you fall under the spell of the boogie, there are some spaces left on the Choregraphy Weekend with Sinclair Ang, 27th – 29th August.
As for the super Asbolut Fringe Fest which is just around the corner – well you can be at the heart of our fave Dublin fest. If you want to perform – yes that’s right –you can lindyhop your way to fame! Just check out www.dublindy.com for deets. Dont miss the show with the most on Sept 20th.
Or for the stage-shy who just fancy learning a choreography, then pop along for a weekend with Sinclair Ang. He’s teaching a Lindy Hop routine, featuring many of Frankie Manning’s favourite moves. As well as learning the choreography over the weekend, Sinclair will explore style/technique and what it takes to shine in a performance!

Yes, I totally heart Drew it’s true…And watching her on the brilliant ‘Alan Carr Chatty Man’ lastnight just reconfirmed my fashion crush. Never has the overly used label of ‘quirky’ fitted so aptly – here’s a gal we’d love to hit the town with…post wardrobe raid that is! A self confessed vintage junkie, the Hollywood legend has never conformed for fashion sake, here’s a fine example of that…Miss Barrymore has just hosted an event with rock royalty pal Kelly Osbourne wearing a £15 vintage dress.
The ‘Going the Distance’ actress amazed Kelly when she revealed her eye for a bargain. Kelly said: “Drew Barrymore was hosting the evening. I’ve known her since I was about 16 and she is so nice – there’s genuinely something special abut her, she’s fabulous. She looked amazing.’’
