Okay, we’re over the snow, we’re coming to terms with the slush, we need to break out of the thermal skins- agreed? Okay then, for those of you still in good ankle-mobility (my sympathy to the many currently elevated) its time to abandon the wellies and slip into your dancin’ shoes cos it’s swing time again…

 

The Hep Cat Club Starts again on 11th Jan at 4 Dame Lane, with their first birthday on the 18th January welcoming Dublin-based “Swing Cats” to lay down some tunes for some fantastic entertainment. Route 66 is also back on every Wednesday in Q Bar. Both nights kick off at 8pm with a drop in beginners swing dance class – a great place to start if you want to learn!

And not the Kate you normally associate with vintage frocks either…the stunning Private Practice star Kate Walsh shimmered and shone at the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday in LA. Accompanying her on the night was this beautiful vintage gold and green sequinned mini dress she’d picked up just earlier that day – not bad for an aul impulsive buy eh?

 

Mind you with her rich red locks and lean limbs this little number may as well have been made for her, mucho props Kate…She told a red carpet interviewer that she’d bought the dress from LA vintage boutique Decades, a store which is among the faves of retro babe Dita Von Teese, and which has just received another plethora of foot-shoppers since we reckon…
