On Saturday 22nd August, model turned actress turned designer Milla Jovovich broke male hearts worldwide by taking herself down her Beverly Hills backyard aisle with long term partner, director Paul Anderson. The wedding had a Spanish theme, with red and white floral arrangements and flamenco guitarists, offset by the flashing bulbs of paps in choppers overhead, what every bride dreams of!
Instead of going for the lavish designer gown on her big day, Milla designed and modified her wedding dress herself. She told Grazia magazine prior to the event: “It’s super simple, but beautiful like a late ’60s or early ’70s white mini. It’s very cute!”
Well it was simply elegant, although we see she opted for maxi over mini in the end, so nice to see an understated vintage inspired look being carried off so stylishly!
The sickeningly beautiful pair also opted for simple 18kt gold bands, with Millas to accompany her 19th century antique engagement ring –a gal after our own hearts.
