Designers Eilis Boyle and Helen James are the brains behind this very worthy cause ‘Talent for Haiti’ . They’re looking for new items to be donated towards an online auction on ebay to raise funds for Haiti. Anything from clothing to jewellery and artwork would be very much appreciated, so if you can please give generously and please spread the word far and wide

Drop off or post donations to:  
Bow Boutique, Powerscourt Townhouse, Dublin2 by Tuesday 26th January and the Ebay Auction site will be live on Thursday 28th
All proceeds (minus Ebay and Paypal fees) will be sent directly to
Medecins sans Frontieres who are doing amazing work over there.

 

Another exciting addition to the auction is Glen Hansard, Mark Geary and friends who have offered to play a Private Gig which will be up for bids! They’ll come to your house and play for you and your friends!! The Gig will take place on Fri Jan 29th (house must be within 2 hrs of Dublin) Bidding is underway right now…

IRELAND‘S BIGGEST COFFEE DAY

POWERSCOURT TOWNHOUSE CENTRE

SUPPORTING

OUR LADIES HOSPICE, HAROLD’S CROSS & BLACKROCK

 

On Thursday 17 September, there will be no charge for your cup of coffee in Powerscourt, instead the restaurants and cafes in the Centre would be grateful if you would donate some money to our Ladies Hospice, Harold’s Cross & Blackrock.

 

And while you’re there, check out a few of the uber exciting new shops recently opened in the centre such as Rubenesque, Covet and Bow boutique.

 

Each restaurant will also be offering customers complimentary special treats throughout the day to enjoy with their coffee.  A selection of sweet treats will be available in the Pygmalion Cafe and Murphys Ice-cream are also kindly offering all children a scoop of free ice cream.  Cafe to Go are offering free coffee and cup cakes and Fresh are doing some tasty homemade flapjacks, tea & coffee free all day. Al Vecchio Castello will be providing coffee & special Italian biscuits.

 

Specially designed ceramic coffee mugs will be sold at Exclusively Irish, all proceeds to the Hospice Care Services.

 

Please pass on the word and invite your friends to the Centre on Thursday 17th September (all day till 8.OO p.m.) to enjoy Coffee and treats and donate to this worthy cause!
