Okay I know I know talking about Crimbo already shame on me – but at a mere 12 weeks away (and our Halloween outfits not even picked out yet!) the talk of the best Xmas parties to come is already afloat. In honor of the 120th anniversary of the Moulin Rouge, we wish to host a vintage/cabaret night, Dublin Burlesque Ball’s “A Prelude to Christmas” show on Saturday 21st November at the Art Gallery Morrison Hotel (Lower Ormond Quay D1), 8pm.

Get out those vintage gladrags and jewels –there’s a party comin to town! The Dublin Burlesque Ball is back and promises to be a fantastic night of glitz, fun and frolics. For those of you who’ve never experienced burlesque first hand or are unsure about the whole vaudeville styled entertainment (ya don’t know what your missin!)don’t worry – you’re in for a tantalising treat! Great fun, full on glam and a touch of the cheeky but never the sleazy. What a perfect excuse to get dolled up, dust off your party dress and dancing shoes!
