Okay I know I know talking about Crimbo already shame on me - but at a mere 12 weeks away (and our Halloween outfits not even picked out yet!) the talk of the best Xmas parties to come is already afloat. And this one is sure to be the mega event for vintage inspired yuletide celebrations, here’s what they have to say:

“The Dublin Burlesque Ball wishes to entice all of you fine burlesquers to slip back into your hot 40’s and 50’s dress, cabaret costumes & risqué frocks for our extravagant end of year showpiece.

In honor of the 120th anniversary of the Moulin Rouge, we wish to host a vintage/cabaret night, Dublin Burlesque Ball’s “A Prelude to Christmas” show on Saturday 21st November at the Art Gallery Morrison Hotel (Lower Ormond Quay D1), 8pm.

The Dublin Burlesque Ball promises to host our most extravagant, indulgent & elaborate show yet, providing this fair city with a truly worthy event to kick -start the year’s Christmas festivities. We have been working tirelessly to bring you the most beautiful and refined starlets from the international Burlesque scene. Prepare yourselves for the finest burlesque acts…

So please come and join us for this fun filled night of extravagance. We hope to raise a toast once again to our dear old friends and courteously welcome any new guests who wish to experience this high class Pre-Christmas entertainment.”

Tickets available now at 36 euros from ticketmaster.

And should you wish to beat the rush of Christmas guna-hunters – get thee to our sales room, updated regularly with fab dresses at fab prices…
