Anna Friel is stunning both audience and paps in her on and off stage to-die-for vintage ensembles. Anna is currently on-stage taking on one of the most iconic images in cinematic/fashion history as Audrey Hepburns Holly Golightly in Truman Capote’s classic ‘Breakfast at Tiffanys’. Although movie buffs be warned…there’s no rendition of Moon River, no 60’s up dos and pearls and no cracker box ring… adaptor Samuel Adamson has revisited the original 1940s wartime setting and binned the Hollywood ending, which means plenty of elegant 40s fash on show! And the stage production also re-incorporates those nude scenes omitted from the movie version- so yes plenty of Friel derriere on display.
I don’t know if its just the cold draught giving Anna the willies, but she’s telling pals there may be a spook in the house…she feels she’s being observed and followed to the wings by people that she cannot see, a friend told the Daily Mail. She joked it could even be Truman himself! Or just the haunting eyes of every living man in the theatre we reckon…

Breakfast At Tiffany’s, by Truman Capote, is at the Theatre Royal Haymarket London.
